This temple is smaller and less impressive than Jing'an Si, but still worth a visit. The main attraction is the two Buddahs made of jade. You'll pay 10RMB to get in and another 10RMB to see one of the Buddahs (the other is part of the shops in the East wing). Compared to Jing'an, this certainly feels like more of... more
First off the Jade Temple is very nice and a definate must see. It is however the youngest of the three temples in Shanghai, and the original Jade buddha that was destroyed in a fire bout 100 years ago, was much smaller than what is there now.
