Definitely worth a visit if you're in Shanghai. The museum has an emphasis on not just the future development of Shanghai, but how incredible its transformation and modernization has been in the last decade. 1st floor exhibits show how much the city has changed, particularly in Pudong. The Urban Planning Museum is definitely a place for the non museum types such as myself. The first floor has a model detailing the vision for Shanghai in the future, this is quite small, if you have little time, skip the first floor and head straight to the 3rd floor, they have a scale model of Shanghai and it only... more
