Great music, beautiful peoples, amazing view! Bar Rouge is THE PLACE of Shanghai night life. Unfortunately the bar tenders are not always at the same level of the rest... And beware to arrive early otherwise will be easy that you should wait long time to go inside...or maybe even you can not because all full booked.

I went there with a friend in August 2011. The staff was rude and unwelcoming. Although the place was almost empty we were asked to sit in the back far from the view which is the only good thing about this place. We spent a really nice time there, the outdoor aera on the Bund is very nice. We enjoyed this time and hope to be able to come back during our stay in Shanghai. The service was nice, we've been welcomed by the floor manager, very friendly !

The view on the river and the Pudong skyscrapers is fantastisc, especially at night. And the prices are as high as the Pudong skyscrapers. So go there, but only for one slow drink; access is free.

Came here pretty late about 1am stayed til 3am very nice, great views and good service. Highly recommend for some drinks or a dance if you prefer!

This club is definitely worth the effort and money.
