You need to stop in when in Selma. It is the history of the voting rights movement under one roof. Each time I go there are more improvements as they continue to grow. The NVRM is the place to see/learn this history.

Very sad what happened there in the 60's. Reading the letters and comments helps to undetstand .
There is a $5 admission to the museum. The museum is no longer located in downtown Selma, as indicated by the map and other references. It is located on the east side of the Edmund Pettus Bridge on the south side of U.S. 80, so don't get lost. It is almost hard to find because the sign was somewhat small....
