Not what I expected. Kind of run down I thought it would be nicer than it was

this is a very informative music museum. It tells the story of many local as well as many other well-known music artists.

This museum is way under rated in my opinion. A great place for a group visit also. You can even make a recording if your hoping to be discovered.:)

The workers were so nice and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel special. The building is really decorated uniquely and is very nice. Some of the exhibits are awesome and the price is great.

The museum was NOT crowded when we visited on a Saturday afternoon (in fact, we were the crowd). Apparently during major events, this is not normally the case. This place wasn't as big as I was expecting but it was very cool. There is a tour bus that you can go in which was fun. You can also make recordings of your own.

I wouldn't drive a long way to get there, but if you are in the area it's an interesting little stop. It includes costumes and memorabilia from Alabama singers, songwriters and musicians. There are many costumes, including from Lionel Ritchie, Toni Tennille, Tammy Wynett, and even Jim Nabors' Gomer Pyle uniform. There is an extravagantly decked out Solid Gold Country... More

A real kick for an hour or so. Alabamans can be very proud of their homegrown musicians. Particularly wonderful are the costumes.
