We took a guided tour as part of a package (tour and Baldi Hot Springs) and it was very interesting to see the life around a volcano, as well as old lava flows. We learned a lot about the local trees and insects, and got to see a spider monkey and a rare white hawk! Definitely a good time!

This park is raw and pure, you will enjoy being away from modern conveniences like a cement walk way!! I know i DID!

We got there when they opening early in the morning and really enjoyed the 3 hour guided tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Did not see another soul for the 3 hours and really enjoyed being alone in the jungle with the rivers and waterfalls.

The snakes were quite interesting but the frog exhibit was outstanding. I doubt you would ever see the small poison dart frogs in the wild. Our guide was extremely informative and enthusiastic. He even found a red eyed tree frog on a leaf outside the exhibit for us to hold and photograph. This park is only a 300 meter walk... More

the most of the time it was raining but we enjoy the park very much.

Easy walk, wonderful views and photo ops. Wear layers since it is always breezy. Panoramic view of Arenal Lake.

We didn't get to spend a lot of time here, but the grounds were amazing. Tons of plants and birds. Very well maintained. A must see.
