The hike down the many many steep steps is worth it. The view of the waterfall is magnificent. We stayed in La Fortuna/Arenal area from 1/26/07 -1/31/07. The La Fortuna Waterfall (Cataratas del Rio Fortuna) was one of my favorite things.
