After hiking around the Arenal volcano we stopped in to the hot springs to relax a bit. The pools didn't seem 'natural' as other hot springs I have visited in Central America and had a waterpark feeling to it. We had lunch at the average buffet, nothing outstanding but it got the job done. The lockers were an additional $6/3500... More

This place is great. After a long day of activities and adventures in La Fontuna, Baldi offers a great relaxing experience. My boyfriend and I went here with a dinner combo, and had a fantastic night. There are many different hot spring pools (compared to some of the smaller hot spring locations in the area). This is great because it... More

This was just what the doctor ordered after a long hike around the Arenal volcano. The pools are clean and wonderful, with a wide range of depths, sizes and temperatures. The pools don't feel very "natural" and are likely regulated in temperature, but it honestly didn't bother me at all, and I thought it would. One note: beware the water... More

Nice hot springs. Clean water. Many different baths, even three waterslides available. Looks a little commercial because of the big park. Actually is a little bit to commercial, because a locker will cost you an additional 6 dollar. And the entrance fee already is costly. That really is a shame! Went there in the evening, it was very quiet (low... More

I know there are natural hot springs in the La Fortuna area, but this establishment, Baldi Hot Springs, was a blast. We went in about 6pm only expecting a few thermal pools heated to different temperatures. But we found a sprawling water park with various size pools with crying temperatures, cold plunge pools within the hot spring pools, water slides... More

What a wonderful place to unwind after a day exploring La Fortuna! So many pools of varying temps to relax in! Enjoyed the dinner buffet in the restaurant after soaking our aches and pains away. The food was good, the service was excellent- well worth the visit.

This resort has 25...yes...25 hot spring pools. One of the pools even has 3 water slides which were a lot of fun. It wasn't very crowded and and property is so huge and spacious there are lots of opportunities for privacy. The pools have different temperatures, some have water falls, some have swim up bars. There is also a hotel... More

There are many mixed reviews about all of the hot springs in the area. We picked Baldi on the recommendation of another traveller and our hostel owner. The tickets were $25-30 each (from the hostel). We thought that we had made a mistake when we walked in, horrible loud music, and an extra cost for a locker. After that, it... More

More expensive than I imagined and really miserable staff (except on the slides - he was very sweet with my girls, the guys doing the towels and lockers need to be fired). Bizarrely the showers are freezing cold. That said my kids really enjoyed the three slides. The left hand one is nice and sedate and they did it at... More

My wife and I did the Baldi Hot Springs dinner and springs pass for 1 night. This was the only bad experience and only bad dinner of our vacation. The food was absolutely horrible and the choices were very limited. Everything was loaded with sodium and had a cheap buffet taste. The springs themselves felt like a very cheap amusement... More
