Beautiful scenery in gorge that you zip line over. Reliable equipment and competant staff that offer humour, help when needed, encouragement all with local pride.

We had a fantastic guide, Orlando who organized our day very well. We started with ziplining, then rode horses, went to the natural hot springs, rode the water slide, had lunch, and then headed back to our hotel.
I recommend starting the day early and following that order if possible to avoid crowds and feeling rushed.
It is fun, exhilarating, interesting,...

My family experienced the canopy located at the Borinquen Spa Hotel that included horseback riding, zip lining, lunch and then the mud (yes, hot mud) spa. Te horseback riding is a very small part of he experience as you only ride up to the start of the canopy tour (15-20 minutes at most).
Now, I have zip lined in several...

Spent the day over spring break with a large group. Be forewarned: the rafting is pretty physical. Several in our group of fairly active teenagers and dads came away with bumps/bruises/scrapes of various kinds. Maybe because the water was low due to the dry season we spent a lot of time running into rocks and each other. The guides had...

Watch the signs for Boriquen Mountain Resort and follow them. The drive is a bit intense and you must have 4 wheel drive if you choose to make the venture on your own. For $80 per person you select your lunch entree (plenty to make anyone happy), and then saddle up. You climb the mountain and cross a stream by...

Johnny D took us from our hotel (Occidental Papagayo), and gave a great tour on the way up to the volcano. We went horse back riding, ziplining, mudbathing and hot spring soaking. Then staff with him was terrific and took so many pictures for us- in fact they took our camera ziplining and took amazing videos of us!
My wife and kids were super impressed with this tour, we booked our tour with Allan Murillo he was a very professional tour guide who spoke English perfectly not to mention that he knew the area very well, his website is www.sunnysidecostarica.com. The tour was personalized, we had a great time and felt that we did not miss anything as...

Costa Rica is the right place for those who loves nature and a little adventure! I highly recomend this Canopy experience, it has a little of evething, You go over those huge trees, rappel, inside a dense jungle, it´s just amazing.
While the surroundings are beautiful and the zip lines are nice, there are some drawbacks. Most importantly, this is not a "tour." The "guides" do nothing more than make sure you zip from one platform to another, without providing any information about the park, its plants or its animals. Also, our tour was oversold and crowded. We found ourselves crammed...
