Fincas Naturales offers several tours during the day of the private grounds and of the butterfly garden and also offers a nocturnal jungle tour at 5:30pm. This is a great place to visit on days when Manuel Antonio National Park is closed. I was travelling alone and was able to join a tour going through the gardens. We went on the night tour and I think we expected to see all sorts of creatures, especially monkeys. Well, we didn't, but Brian, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic that we soon found ourselves enjoying his (and our) hunt for small night creatures, especially frogs, very much.
