This an inexpensive fun activity to do with your kids. I don't have kids, but I enjoyed it. If you're into architectural stuff, this is a very cool building.

It retains some of the original prison, has sections of the museum directed toward children and also artwork for adults.

This place was fantastic! I took my wife and 16 month old. My daughter had a great time, and got tired out before we saw it all. it is geared toward much older kids though. TONS to see and do. Nice place for children to learn, need to update it. Can't compare it to children museum's in other parts of the world, like USA or around Europe.

A very interactive museum where children can touch, play and learn!!

Kids love this place, they can touch and play with everything in the museum. If you are not bringing kids you will probably get bored.Make sure to get and leave i taxi, there are some dangerous neighborhoods not that far away

For about $2 a day your kids will have a blast. My daughter loves the giant chessboard. The slanted house is an experience out of this world.

This is walking distance from the Best Western Hotel Downtown. It was and old Costa Rician prison. Now it is a museum for children. The architecture is wonderful, very impressive.
