The beach is almost 2 kilometers long, with wonderful blue lagoon and pristine clear water. You can enjoy alone under palms or join friendly locals at the weekends. Water is full of colorful tropical fish and there are also many sting rays in the lagoon.

You don't need to be a guest at the deluxe hotel/resort on the beach to savor the delights of swimming, sunning, snorkeling, etc. on Moorea's most tropical beautiful beach....just follow the signs for the Public Beach, park secure your belongings and revel in a fab day!

One problem with Moorea is that most of the shoreline is privately owned, either by hotels or locals. Beach access can therefore be a problem. An exception is Temae Beach, not far from the airport. If you are doing the round-the-island tour by hire car, it is worth the slight detour.
