If you want the overall experience you are better off doing the BBQ and cultural show.

We decided to visit the Tiki Village after seeing a video at our hotel (Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa which was absolutely beautiful by the way). We had dinner which was nice but not spectacular but was disappointed with the lack of authenticity of the ground oven. It was covered with hessian bags, there were pots and pans covered in... More

A real highlight in Moorea for me. Went for dinner which was OK and then followed on by the show which was spectacular. As a keen photographer to get near relatively close to the performance was a real plus. It is very difficult these days to photograph such a high quality performance without special permission which was no problem. Overall... More

There is a lot to see as they walk you through the "village", which is really just a lot of booths for you to buy stuff at. The dancing was fun to watch and the fire dance was really impressive but the food was lackluster.

We were a bit hesitant about this tour due to the comments on food but Pacific for Less didn't offer a show only option and we were getting down to the wire and decided to take a leap of faith and bought the dinner and show combo. It cost $83 US / person through PFL. Considering the food costs in... More

The Tiki Village Cultural Center was worth the visit, dinner, and show. The best part was learning the dances (women, then men) and touring the mock-up village. The food was not outstanding, but it was good.

They claim that going to Moorea and not visiting Tiki Village is like going to Paris and not going to the Eiffel Tower.... *Cultural experience- very nice. This is a recreation of a village the way they used to live back then. I'd suggest you visit this place at the beginning of your trip so you get a nice intro... More
