We spend a magical half day snorkeling with Kia Orana Cruises. Captain Fantastic and Mrs Fantastic are wonderful people and really really made us feel welcome. The snorkel spots they took us to were sensational. The ship wreck was cool to swim around. The final stop where we anchored the boat in shallow water on a sand bar and swam... More

My mum and I had a glorious time with Captain Fantastic. We were just lucky to find out about him, as we were eating lunch at the takeaway store; right next door. When we met up with him we were greated and taken away in less than 30 seconds. On our way out, he was very helpful and considerate as... More

We were recommend by fellow travellers to go with Kia Orana. They were definatley right. This would be the best day trip we have ever done. Small and personal service. Captain Fantasic - you really are. Being a small group met on the islands you could feel like you were the only ones alive, on the lagoon it ment that... More

We were supposed to go with another company luckily they were booked out otherwise we would of missed out on going with Kia Orana Cruises. There was only the 3 of us so it felt like a private charter. Captain Fantastic was great with his storytelling and singing we even brought the DVD. First we went to One Foot Island... More

We had a wonderful sunset lagoon cruise with Kia Orana Cruises. We departed at 1pm, which differs to other lagoon cruise companies. It was the perfect idea. Great snorkelling spots, small group and excellent lunch on Honeymoon Island. We even got to plant our own coconut tree on Honeymoon Island for being honeymooners. Definitely recommended.

We were lucky enough to be taken on an 'experimental' afternoon tour by Captain Fantastic (aka Andrew) who was looking to re-jig his itinerary and do something different to the other tours. Rather than leaving in the morning when the other tours tend to go we departed at one pm for some snorkelling in two different spots, a walk around... More

Great cruise, the boat was well maintained and easy to get in and out of when snorkelling. It is a ramco boat specially built for tourism. Went to all available Motu , snorkelled 3x saw turtle giant clams and big trevally. Delcious lunch..............highlight of trip

We went on a day trip to Aitutaki organised by Air Rarotonga (airraro.com) and had a wonderful day. It's a bit expensive for a day trip, but a large part of this cost would be due to the fact that you have to fly there and back. It certainly didn't feel as though we were ripped off. After spending some... More

We did a day tour to Aitutaki with Air Rarotonga which although not cheap was well worth while. Arrived at the Island after a 40 minute flight with water, tea/coffee. Our tour on the island was not as expected due to the downpour of rain in town but the running commentary of our tour guides kept us all in fits... More
