Day overcast and showers - Api was our driver - laughs started immediately. met with other 3 vehicles. This was a great way to see Rarotonga rainforest. As we have a 3 year old then a hike would be too hard.The giude was very informative about culture , history and the way of life in Rarotonga.We were collected from our resort and spent 5 hours on the tour.They provided a beautoful BBQ fresh fish and salad lunch before... more

Entertaining all the way. Fantastic funny guides, rough riding over muddy steep terrain. Fabulous views from the hills to the sea all ending with a wonderful fish bbq. This tour is a great way to see most of the island and get a bit of history in the process. On the tour, your driver gives you lots of information about the history, the culture and about how people live on the island. Our particular driver, John, was also quite humorous. We have been to Rarotonga 8 times now and been on this tour 4 times. Each time we have taken a different family member with us we have included this tour as one of the 'must do' events. You travel on safari jeeps and the tour operator takes you onto tracks where neither cars nor bikes can travel. The view... more
