The tram ride is about 3 mins up and 3 mins down. The views are worth the $18.00, but we were very surprised by the lunch package. The lunch was not at all what we thought and the 'advertising' is a bit weak so you think you're getting one thing and actually getting another. Lunch is not recommened. You should... more

This ride is worth the price just to say that you've been at the top of a mountain! Seriously though, the price (I believe it was around $20) was totally worth it, especially considering that a lunch is included (and there were some good selections too!). We enjoyed our ride up the Aleyska Tram. It was not very crowded when we were there, and even though it was cloudy, we still could peak through the clouds every now and then and see the gorgeous views. There were hiking opportunities at the top of Mt. Aleyksa, but they seemed pretty strenuous, so we steered clear of them.... more

Excellent day-trip. And if u have the money, a gorgeous resort to spend a night ! Just 40 miles south of Anchorage on the way to Seward or Prince William Sound. You get amazing views of the mountain from the top. You can even trek on to the Alyska Glacier and it's really nice. when u buy your ticket to... more
