Jim is the guy when it comes to bicycles and bike repairs in Girdwood. All the locals know him. Whether it's a rental (I rented a bike trailer for a weekend trip) or a repair (my wife got her yard-sale special bike tuned up), he's your guy. I have visited Girdwood Ski and Cyclery many times, on my way to or from the Alyeska Ski Resort, or the backcountry beyond. We wanted to visit Alaska and decided to check out Girdwood. Stopping into Girdwood Ski and Cyclery on the Alyeska Hwy, we met the owner Jim Janssen.
