Norman Lowell's Art Gallery is a great stopping place when driving from Soldotna to Homer, Alaska. You won't believe your eyes. We always stop with friends and relatives visiting us from the lower forty-eight (outside) when on the way to Homer. You turn left just before crossing a bridge on the Anchor River south of Anchor Point. Drive up a... More

On our drive from Seward to Homer, we stopped at the Norman Lowell Gallery. The many paintings are breathtakingly beautiful and we high recommend that you stop here. Norman Lowell is an accomplished artist so unfortunately, the selling prices are very high.

Before making the drive to this gallery, you may like to google the artist to have an idea of his style of painting. While the collection is large and well presented, it is not the type of work that interests me. I wish I had checked his style out before making the drive.

A must stop for any travelers on the Kenai Peninsula. Very near Anchor Point, watch for the "Gallery" signs along the highway.

Although we were hesitant to stop when someone recommended the Lowell Gallery, we were pleasantly surprised. For a few moments you are taken to a beautiful gallery that could be in any major city. Then the emotions and artistry of Norman Lowell takes over and moves you to the real beauty of his work. Being able to talk to him... More

This Gallery is so inspiring. This is a must see. Mr. Lowell is so friendly and we only could imagine how he was able to paint the masterpieces that he had. All I can say is you have to see it to believe it. He has a special talent.

My children and I took time this weekend to visit Norman Lowell's gallery just outside of Anchor Point on the way to Homer. My husband and a friend were Halibut fishing and so many friends that know Norman have said it was a must see. We live in Anchorage for two years now and I am sorry that I had... More

My fiancee and I were so glad we took the time to visit this beautiful museum and art gallery. The art work is breath taking and is displayed as exquisitely as any large gallery we have ever seen. Beautiful music is playing and Norman and Libbey Lowell themselves usually are wandering around the gallery to visit with you and talk... More

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Alaska in June 07 traveling with another couple. They had been to the Lowell gallery before and suggested we stop there on our way to Homer. We had stopped in several shops/galleries before and had minimal expectations for this one. WOW! Were we wrong! The gallery is very large and the presentation... More

My family and I stopped there today on our way to Homer. The artwork in this little tucked away gallery is absolutely beautiful and represented so clearly the beauty of Alaska. We were also fortunate to get to speak to the artist himself, Norman Lowell, a humble but obviously extremely gifted gentleman. After visiting the art gallery, we walked up... More
