Call it a tourist attraction. Call it too expensive. But, this is one thing I would not want to have come back from Juneau Alaska saying that I had not done. Great views, wonderful little theatre, nice nature center and gift shop, really cool hiking trails with fantastic greenery and views, and good food in the Timberline Bar & Grill.... more

This was awesome. I went first week in June/08. There was still snow on the ground and part of the mountain was blocked off. Were "cruising" in late May. Weather was absolutely FANTASTIC/SUNNY/ WARM. We hiked up to the top and must say the view was FANTASTIC. We brought with us some adult refreshments in our insulated/iced back packs. The local brewery provided the beverages. All 12 of us sat atop Mt. Roberts for 3 hours. Our camera pics are outstanding.
