We were fortunate to visit with Adventurebound June11 on a sunny warm day. The scenery was stunning, blue ice, waterfalls all over, the ice flows with seals and their pups, bears and numerous eagles and whales. We were able to get close to the face of the glacier, saw the drops, and the sounds of the breaking ice were incredible.... more

As a local that has been throughout Southeast Alaska, I would say this is the best value for an excursion from Juneau. A trip down to Tracy Arm is beautiful, and as far as I am concerned it is better $$$ spent then a day triip to Glacier Bay. The reason I say this is that you spend a lot... more

We were with Dawn Princess Cruise in Alaska on August 2008 and seeing the Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm Fjord in outstanding clear-sky weather was one of the best experiences in this cruise. dozens and dozens of waterfalls streaming from towering walls that surround you. gorgeous ice sculptures floating by. dramatic views abound. I'd pick this over Glacier Bay. Went on the Captain Cook - great small boat... more

We were on a cruise through Tracy Arm Fjord at the end of May 2007. It was absolutley stunning! We were a tad bit dissapointed that we did not get very close to either of the glaciers, but we were close enough to see them and get some nice photos. You need to go later in the season to get... more
