The beach looks close on a map but was about a 2 hour drive (maybe quicker if one took the train to Tangu, then drove). There is a fee to enter the compound containing beach access and associated buildings and attractions.
We visited on a cool, grey August day so it was not too crowded. Walking towards the beach there...
