We would echo reviews of the homestay with Dat in Sapa. He is extremely knowledgeable, a lovely person, and his family is a joy. Dat speaks very good English. The homestay is simple with basic accommodations and good food and being with the family (wife and 2 young children) was a treat. It was truly amazing part to be with... More

Sapa trekking measured up to all the terrific reviews it receives. Combined with HaLong Bay (a UNESCO world heritage site) and Hanoi our visit to North Vietnam was outstanding. All our arrangements were made from the United States before the trip through a Hanoi based travel company, HaLong Sapa Tours (sales@halongsapatours.com, www.halongsapatours.com). We worked with great satisfaction direclty with Ms.... More

We booked a one day hike with Sapa Nature Tour. This is about a 5 hour walk led by a local Hmong girl who of course knows the area and also speaks very good English. We started outside the nature tour office and walked down the road perhaps 2 kilometers before cutting downhill where we met the trails leading to... More

If you like the natural view, you may consider to go Sapa. We select easy trekking, although it is taught for us due to we seldom exercise, furthermore we bring along our kids aged 3+, but when you arrive the destination, really... you will feel worth it! The weather is good and scenery really looks beauty! This is really good... More

We spend 3 amazing days with Dat. Before we went to Sapa we had to decide if we want to go with a tour organised by a tour agent or with individual guide. And it wasthe best choice. With a tour we would not see so many great places.and we would miss the opportunity to spend some time in real... More

After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, I contacted may pham ly via email to enquire about a personal trek/ home stay for my family of 2 adults and 2 children. Pham was very responsive on the email and wrote very good English which is a great start. We were fully informed about the inclusions of the tour and the prices.... More

This was a great trek for one day in Sapa. Our guide organised by Trekking Sapa was informative and we very much enjoyed chatting over the three hours.

We took the sleeper bus to Sapa (11 hours) and to Hanoi hard sleeper in train from Lao Cai (much better and more comfortable). In Sapa we were sleeping in a very nice hotel with view of Fan Si Pan peak, really very beautiful place for 10 dollars per room. In Sapa town you can see many minority people with... More

Train ride was an adventure & whilst I am 1.93cm tall, I still managed some broken sleep on the smallish beds. Booked all 4 beds so my wife & I maintained some privacy. Sapa township quite busy, but still interesting. Booked through Ocean Tours in Hanoi for an overnight trek & homestay. Showers & breakfast supplied at Cat Cat Hotel.... More

We booked with Vega Travel over the Internet as they had been recommended in Lonely Planet. Vega were great with their communication and answering emails promptly. We booked a private tour and We had the most WONDERFUL guide - Cuong. He made the three days and two nights really special and his care and knowledge of the local hill tribe... More
