If you are planning a hike in Sapa, you would miss out on a great experience not using the Sapa Sisters! We did 3 day-2night trek and had a wonderful, heartwarming time. Our guide was a lovely girl with a great sense of humor and she spoke very good English! When you leave Sapa there is no escape to all... More

Wonderful experience! Chi took us on a 'less touristy' trek in the morning, at our request, then went to Lao Chai in the afternoon. We stopped for lunch at her 90+ year old grandmothers house where she lived with a few generations of her family. Very sweet and hospitable. Chi is a lovely girl and was very chatty and open... More

Our guide met us at our hotel and gave us an amazing tour. She tailored the tour to our needs. This was important as we were a group of mixed-ages including an older couple and small children. Our guide was a local Hmong woman who knows the area and took us on a trek that had breath-taking views. It not... More

just a few days before we set off we contacted sapa sisters by mail. After a quick reply from their side we arranged a 2 day hike. The day before we would go we met with our guide Lan Doob in sapa and togehter we made a plan of where to go. The hike was wonderful, we didn't even have... More

We were very happy to book a day tour ($30/person/day) at the last minute with the Sapa sisters as we only contacted them late evening for a tour on the next day. Chi was not available so Lang met us at 9.30AM next to the church. Lang, full of joy and happiness speaks great english, took us through some lovely... More

I can honestly say that my two day trekking experience in Sapa was one of the greatest experiences in my life. I don't think this would have been possible if it were for Lan, our guide, who was so friendly, immensely informative and generous. We (my father, sister and I) had originally booked to spend one day with Lan, and... More

We planned a two-day-trek with our two children, age 8 and 10, but had to make a last minute change to two one-day-treks instead. Our guide was Chi and she was very nice and spoke good english. The first day we went on a trek to different villages in the valley towards Lau Chai. It was a wonderful trek and... More

The Sapa Sisters is an amazing way to experience the local ethnic community and get a great hike as well. Our guide, Chi, was amazing. Her English (self taught) was good enough to answer all of our questions about her H'mong culture and the local villages. The tour was just my wife and myself with Chi and 3 other hanger-ons.... My boyfriend and I completed a 3 day trek with Sapa Sisters in late December 2011. Without doubt, this was a highlight of our 3 week trip to Vietnam and an experience that I will be talking and thinking about for a long time to come. The Sapa scenery was beautiful and we were lucky to have clear (almost hot)... More

As a family we travelled to Sapa in early December 2011. We contacted Sapa Sisters once we arrived in Sapa as we did not get an email response to our earlier requests. We were told all sapa sisters were booked but that a cousin, PEM, was available for the next day. We paid $20/person for the day trek. They initially... More
