was hard to see the turtles because they were in the deep and the instructor used to go too much fast!

We went there with Extra Divers from Fayrouz. I know we've been lucky - when we were snorkeling close to shore, a dolphin came to swim with us! It was swimming with us for 10 minutes, really close, it was an extraordinary experience. Reef is ok, there is a plenty of life there.

great bay to dive but with stronger winds there are strong currents which makes the dive entry/exit quite tricky and at times impossible. Otherwise a very relaxed dive spot.

Good beach with plenty of beds and shade. Well worth going for the snorkeling and diving, which are very good.

Dived marsa shouna - two bays actually marsa shhona kebir (big) and the small one who;s name currently escapes me - but nearbys is marsa abu dabab where I had the amazinf privelidge to dive with a dugong....any of the bays near marsa alam give you a faint possibility of seeing one - been trying to find one for years...
