This was well worth the price for us southerners. The cruise folks were nice and friendly. Ol' Stan is a little dry and his narrative was mostly monotone; however, once things are under way you can go up and talk to him and he's a better conversationist than you'd think. My husband and I did the 9 hour Columbia and Meares Glacier Excursion aboard The Valdez Spirit. Staff professional and courteous. We promptly boarded on time and left the harbor right on time. Captain Stan narrated during the cruise, providing us with very interesting facts and stories during the ride. A lunch meal and afternoon snack were included in the... more
