this boat tour leaves out of whittier and goes to several glaciers to see them calve (we saw and heard lots of calving - quite an experience). as a bonus we saw many harbor seals as they swam around and hauled out on the ice. the boat and crew were very accomodating and a park ranger goes on the trip... more

We took the evening dinner cruise out of Seward. Very nice. Get the all you can eat salmon and prime rib buffet. Everything was very good. They have a National Park Ranger onboard and the kids can become Junior Park Rangers. more

Though the weather did not cooperate (cold and rainy), we found our 1/2 day Kenai Fjords cruise from Major Marine tours to be very enjoyable. It was the first time my husband and I had ever been on a large boat let alone on the sea/ocean, and even though the weather causes some choppy sailing, we did not get seasick.... more
