“Great Birthday idea for families”

Safe, beautiful and very entertaining. The staff is highly qualified and good at matching up horse and riders. I was terrified at first, but by the end was having a blast.

“Great family activity”

We really enjoyed our two hour ride with Cave Creek. The horses are well cared for and the facilities are clean. My children (12 & 14) loved the ride and my husband enjoyed it as well - although he was sore. Great information from our guide and the land we covered was beautiful. Highly recommend this stable.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on Trip Advisor .We are so lucky to be inside the Cave Creek Regional Park. Beautiful rolling hills with lush plant and animal life. We are also easy to find and just far enough out of the city to be great get-a-way. We hope to see you again. More

I LOVE my job! We enjoyed your family and your son. Once he got on and realized that he could ride the horse he was fine. I don't know who the ride was more important to. You as a family or us to know that we were able to give you that experience. A win all the way around :).... More

We went for the 1 hour ride, the rude itself was a nice simple ride. I wasn't expecting any hills or anything since I thought it was a simple desert ride. We loved our day with Joe, Bluegrass, Sundance, Blanco and Gus, our guide! My 10 year old had never ridden before and Bluegrass took real good care of her. The staff were all friendly, fun and very helpful! I was really impressed with the "dress up" area. The hats, boots and chaps they offer are clean and really cute!

“Fun for all ages”

Three generations of inexperienced riders, ages 8 to 73, did the 1 hour trail ride. We felt safe but also adventuresome. We enjoyed interesting views and learned about various kinds of cactus and desert plants. Our guide was sensitive to our safety concerns and tailored our experience to our Midwest backgrounds. It was a memorable experience for all.

Beautiful scenery, great views! Horses were well-kept, healthy, gentle - perfectly trained to 'follow the leader'. For someone comfortable with riding I would've liked a bit more of a 'ride', but knew that is not what tour rides are geared towards. We rode with Madi and Ranger Sarah and had a superb experience.....riding the trail, in the sunshine under amazing blue skies, we learned about the unique features of the Sonoran desert gazing out at the breathtaking vistas. Not to be missed!
