Perfect place for relaxation!.. Did both camping and hotel during a long weekend and was amazing. A lot of hikes and nearby town of clarence is amazing! very nice place and food amazing as well!

This is not a wow experience. However, if you enjoy relaxing in nature, rural scenery and and you are not bent on seeing the big five, this is definitely a worthwhile destination. We stayed in a chalet for 3 nights during the Dec/Jan school holidays. Despite being fully booked, it was quiet and peaceful. There is limited accommodation in the park and because of its location and perhpas the fact that there are 'only' buck and other smaller wildlife and no big 5, it was pleasantly peaceful and quiet even over the Christmas period.

Good walks, nice surrounds, clean camp site, natural pool. Very noisy, especially at night as a main road runs past the camp site.
