Catch the Gautrain from the airport to the city, it's fast efficient and clean. Security guards patrol the carriages so I felt safe as a woman traveller coming to Jo'burg for the first time. Fare R230 to Rosebank from OT airport.

Well run, except for the queues for tickets when the machines were faulty, but this was just after the 2010 World cup so there were still teething problems. Prices are also quite steep. I think it should be more affordable so more people can experience it and become regular users.

A 12-15 minute trip from JNB-O.R. Tambo International Airport to Sandton. The roundtrip adult fare (including card) is R230. No more worries about guessing how bad the traffic jams will be! What a wonderful addition to Johannesburg!
