As a parent needing a break or an au pair needing an activity in the rain, this is the answer! Great for little ones, the interaction is brilliant and they learn while staying out of your hair. The special exhibitions they run are also marvellous!

great for kids only, pricey. Staff a bit on the bored side. Some cool stuff though. Great for days when there's none better to do

The Sterkfontein caves were interesting, but if you don't like sliding through small spaces on your rear, you might just stick to the museum. Hard to deny evolution when you've visited this place.

Exhilirating and thought-provoking experience. Challenging to our perception of the origins of manking - great to be in aposition to have empirical evidence presented and still to reach your own personal conclusions.
