I had the privilege of going to the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 World Cup as well as U2! Amazing spectaculars, pity about the state of the bathrooms on all occasions. They were quite discusting and filthy, but apart from that it was an incredible experience and beautiful stadium with capacity of over 100 000 if i am... More

South Africa has a number of fantastic stadiums, thanks to the 2010 World Soccer Tournament that took place here. We were fortunate enough to attend some of these matches, one being at this stadium. Really beautiful!

Surely one of the best stadiums in the world. This world class host of the 2010 Fifa World Cup Final is very beautiful with a distinctly African feel. Easily accessible on match days by buses and train. I would recommend traveling in a big group if attending a local match.
