Convenient and entertaining, especially for foreign visitors and families who cannot get away to the real bush or Kruger. Can take some great pics of lions with the city in the background...

I had a memorable experience at Lion Park. Had a great time, took lots of pictures of the Zebras, Spring Bok, Ostrich, Cheetah, White Lions, Lions, Giraffes, Meerkat, played with the Lion cubs, and saw the feeding of the cats at about 1700hrs – see my photos. I would say the interaction with the Lion cubs is most unforgettable. Where... More

We just arrived back from the Addo Elephant Park, where entry for the day for two adults amounted to R70 a day. You see the animals in a wonderful natural setting and then we were invited to the Lion Park that charge R300 for two adults. I was shocked at how little trees there were for the animals that graze,... More

The park is beautiful! A mini-safari, if you don't have time to go on a real safari. Loved the lion cubs especially, playing with them was fun, but a bit scary at the same, especially if you're there for the first time, because they're a bit unpredictable and you don't know what to expect from them, they're animals at the... The lion park is great, pricey yes! but worth every cent, one has to do the drive through the enclosures where they have prides locked up. however please remember they are wild animals still and keeps cameras and hands inside ones car. another must is buy the food for the giraffe and give him a feed, really an awesome experience...
