place was dirty no one seemed to be friendly, the house itself was closed the whole experience was terrible

In Irene, a beautiful surrounding and interesting History The family lived there till their deaths.It is a museum like the Kruger House.Worth visiting.

The house is filled with wonderfully interesting pieces. The experience was highly informative and enjoyable. Entrance is very cheap.

The visit is quite interesting but the house itself is not so nice, and needs to be refreshed. Anyway, people really interested in local history will like to get details about one of the most important figures of SA.
