A must do if you are near (or South of) Durban. Under publicised area (maybe no bad thing). Excellent views and Leopards Cafe well worth a visit for the setting. Also visit the nearby game reserve which has the wooden bridge etc. All inexpensive Alan & Lil more

If you have 1/2 to full day and are within an hour drive of Oribi Gorge it's definitely worth the trip. The scenery is beautiful with lots of photo opportunities. We entered the park and though the sign said the office was to our left it didn't say we needed to pay there. So we just kept on driving into... more

Oribi Gorge is a truly spectacular tourist destination, that is often overlooked because it does not get the exposure it deserves. Possibly because most tourists only think of visiting the beaches along the Kwazulu Natal South Coast. Our family stopped off at the Oribi Gorge Hotel on our way back home recently, and were really impressed with this hidden gem.... more
