Great place to pass your day, with a lot a shows with dolphins and seal, feeding activities and access to de wet n wild park. Pay attention to the times of each show/feeding.
The niece loved the dolphin and seal shows. The aquarium is amazing and well worth the visit. You can also swim in one of the tanks and it looked like fun. There is a restaurant at the aquarium but it was full and we enjoyed lunch at one of the many restaurants at uShaka. There are many curio shops which... More
On entering this enormous complex, take note of the various show times and feeding times. You would not like to miss any of these attractions. Familiarise yourself with the layout of the complex and note the times of events on the areas of the map layout that you get on entry. Amongst the must see shows are the Dolphin show... More
Three generations went to UShaka Marine World - everyone was enchanted with the dolphin show, and the aquarium was wonderful.
Compared to similar resorts in Hanmer NZ and Miami Usa or California s waterworld in Disneyland, this is very mediocre. The price of admission< by international standards> is ok, but by local standards ..too high. The dolphinarum makes the resort passable, but the rest is n't work mentioning.
uShaka Marine World deserves a whole day visit. It is not just a walk through aquarium... you can take an undersea walk, through the "shipwreck" - it is so cleverly done with ropes, crates and cargo strategically placed and you view the marine life through the "portholes" - which are large windows giving a very good view and you can... A dodgy drive through a bad part of town will get you to an oasis for families. That's if you get through the long queues and masses come holiday season....Kids will love it!! Quite pricey though..... The aquarium is interesting enough. Plenty of eateries and a great beach. Definately a place for kids.
Go to Ushaka with the view to trying it all. The first big plus is that the whole place is a themed park: it's not just a aquarium or a water park. The Wet 'n Wild water rides are awesome for both adults and kids. The underwater walk is something totally different. The aquarium, seal and dolphin shows are great... More
My wife and I bought two combo tickets to celebrate our birthdays. On Saturday, 23 November, we went and really enjoyed the Marine World and Dolphin show. We did rush it a bit, as we also wanted to enjoy the Wet 'n Wild facility. What a disaster! We stood in a queue in the sun for about half an hour... More
