The 5 day walking trail was the best experience of our 3 1/2 weeks in South Africa. Despite mixed weather a flexible approach ensured we got the best of the walks on appropriate days. Beaches, Forests, Riversides.....perfect. Thought I might lose weight on this one but the picnics and Mark's cooking were so good I gained weight!

I did the 5 day coastal hike on the Garden route trail with Mark Dixon.
Mark knows everything there is to know about the whole area, all that you hear, all that you see, animals, ground, sea, plant life. It seemed like wonderful experiences never stopped for the full five days of the trip. Marks family contributed to the great...
