I had been to Gods Window many years back and was caught out by the mist so I was up to round 2. We were lucky to visit Gods Window on a clear day so had a very clear vista. The walk through the woods is fairly long, and was however quite disappointing as a whole, due to a lot... More

Just out side of Graskop (7k?). A must visit! well worth the small fee and short hiks on steps and sloped path to the top, amazing view over Blyde River and surrounding area, on a good day you can see for miles and miles and miles! I advise passing Gods Window and "The Rain Forrest" (small wooded area) through a... More

The view from the pinnacle is probably better than God's window which is in need of some maintenance as it is quite overgrown hence the views are somehat limited.

The views were not great despite a clear day. Very touristy and lots of walking.

We were lucky in that we had great weather - I believe that it is mostly misty. What an incredible view.

When busy - really feels like a Tourist Tat Hole. Too many folks paying a flying visit to apparently add it to the Been-there, Seen-it, Got-the-Tee-shirt list. Shame

For only 5 ZAR, you're able to have a great look into the Blyde River Canyon! A good stop over point!

Good walk to the view point. The rain forrest you walk through is amasing. If the clivias are in full bloom then the experience makes for great photos. Try and catch it on a clear day as the views are lingering forever!

The panorama route around Blyde River Canyon is an excellent way to spend 1/2 a day to a full day in addition to Kruger National Park if you are visiting South Africa and spending time in the eastern part of the country. There are several important stops along route R532 between Graskop and Abel Eramus Pass, including God’s Window. This... More
