The beach at Camps Bay is great. The sea is very cold! There are lots of really good bars and restuarants to eat both at night and during the day. The sunsets are amazing.

Don't expect to swim at any time, though, without a wet suit. Water is entirely too cold!

we liked the time of year we chose not too hot and not too crowded in fact most of the time we were the only ones on the beaches. Just perfect for us!!

The beach is cleaned regularly and you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for a small fee.

The views are spectacular and the beach is pretty clean and safe. It's also right in front of the main drag of Camps Bay for restaurants and shopping.

The water is cold but the sand is lovely! Nice to stroll from one end to the other and back again. Great views of the 12 Apostles and Lions Head
