Some incredible times await if you try one of the many walks up the mountain but only if you go prepared. Take the Mountain for granted and you could get stung. The tour guides can be a bit more interesting and give their groups a bit more time to enjoy the walk. The mountain is awesome and interesting even if you do it on your own. Definitely helps clear your lungs.
A once in a lifetime experience! I would recommend it to all!!
We walked up Table Mountain last November. It's a 3 hours walk (we started at Platteklip Gorge). It"s not too exhausting and I promise: you will enjoy the view even more when you climbed up all by yourself. Bring food and drink and start early in the morning as it"s less crowded.

I enjoyed a wonderful climb/walk via skeleton gorge from Kirstenbosch up the "back side" of Table Mountain. We wer going to do a up and down, but once we got to the top op the gorge, decided to walk to Mc Clear's Beacon - the highest part of Table Mountain. We then decided to walk along the Table
