On the whole I hated this place. The restaurants were over priced and the food like nasty British pub food. Its OK for a stroll or to go to the cinema but to spend night after night here is to deny a great cape town experience. more

One doesn't really visit the V&A Waterfront as much as experience it. Bustling, with top class shopping, top class eating and a great atmosphere, buskers, entertainers etc.. If you want an authenitic African experience, go backpacking in bush, the Waterfront is civilised and pleasant. A great place for a city break. more

The staff was very friendly and very professionel, the food was good, the location great and the room was clean, modern and comfortable. Very touristy - but well worth visiting to shop and then sit with a drink and watch the sun go down behind table mountain.
