It is strange why penguins should chose this beach above others to make it a place to congregate. Board walks have been built over the site so the penguins can continue to wander at will and enjoy themselves whilst the visitors can get equal pleasure from watching them rest , play and wander around. An easy, low-key fun thing to do. Kinds love to wander with the penguins, and in the evenings especially they bray like comic donkeys, and are entertaining to watch. A great stop-off on the way to or from Cape Point, and there are nice seafood places to eat nearby also. Worth a stop or small detour. more
