This is not the most happening place on week days. If the 'happening' happens during week ends I don't know because I went there on a week day and the place was dull and boring. Sooo good at night , it comes a live . Loved The Dubliner great live music every night and wonderful atmosphere . Lots of good places to eat and if you carry on to the end of the street you find Kloof street which is a bit hippyish .

This is the old part of town but has seen a revival driven by cafes and restaurants

But bit disappointing. Heard great stories about that place before coming but it is rarer nice but average turistic place with restaurants and bars. But of course you need to see it when in cape town
