This is the easiest ostrich farm to get to if you are travelling from Cango caves to Oudtshoorn or back. It does what it says on the tin - not sure what has happened to the butterflies though!! We had a good guide and you can do as much as you care with the ostriches - our 6+8 year old...

Interesting tour of the farm - visitors being encouraged to interact (if brave enough) with the sometimes slightly scary-looking ostriches. This includes getting the chance to ride one if you're under 75kgs. Worth a visit.

We spent some time at this Ostrich ranch and really enjoyed the experience. We learned facts about this bird that were fascinating. My wife also took the opportunity to ride one of the larger birds around the corral.

You have to drive to Oudtshoorn to do this, preferrably use an operator like Eco Afrika Tours you will not be able to find and fit all that can be seen and done in one day without professional help. I hugged an ostrich it was beautiful
This was a great farm to visit with such informative guides. The ostriches were beautiful. We fed them and our husbands kissed them and we even had a massage from the ostriches.
