With winter approaching fast in South Africa, it was great to still enjoy a trip to a wine estate that offered an alternative to their summer picnics. The tapas were tasty, great to share with that special person and the wine was sublime. Loved every minute of this visit and can highly recommend it for a tasty treat!

The wines were fabulous and learned about Pinotage which we do not have in the United States. The winery has an interesting history which is shared with the wedding cup demonstration.

Really nice for kids to play here while parents taste great wines. its about 12 km from stellies but worth the drive

Spend a wonderfull day at Warwick today. Food and wine absoluteley excellent and the staff friendly and knowlegable Defnitely worth a second visit

If you do one thing in Stellenbosh, book a lawn spot for a gourmet picnic at Warwick, I haven't had such a relaxing lunch in years. Delicious food and wine while sat on cushions under umbrellas on the lawn- bliss!

Warwick has some interesting wines. The wine level is good when we compared it to the South African Wines. Saying that means, that we find a lot of better wines in other countries (France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, USA).
But the Warwick wine is good. The history about the Cape Lady Cup is also interesting and we enjoyed the wine...

We had a wonderful picnic in the grounds of this fab wine farm. Perfect weather, excellent service and facilities. Great food and plenty of their First Cape Lady. Went home with a few other bottles too...
