Overview: This facility is located on Avenida de Mayo and is above Cafe Tortoni. The lessons are just on drop in basis and you don't have to sign up for classes to start learning. You pay for your lesson each day on the 1st floor (That is the second floor for English speaking people - they consider the street level... more

Instead of paying close to $100 USD each for an over-the-top "Tango for Export" show, visit the Academy for an all-comers class taught by wonderful & patient English-speaking instructors. Only 15 Pesos (~$5 USD) per person got us a 90-minute lesson followed by a "Free Tango" session where experienced locals really strutted their stuff. The quality of their dancing was... more
