This is the widest street in Buenos Aires. In total I counted 18 lanes of traffic at the intersection of Corrientes, and is where the Obelisk is located. The Avenida 9 De Julio is really three sections of streets a pedestrian has to cross. There is the one at the beginning of the crossing and another at the end that are two lanes wide.
