It is a very good location to stay as a tourist on your visit to Buenos Aires. Palermo has a lot of the traditional aspects of BsAs that you want to see, mixed with a lot of restaurants, walking areas, parks, shopping. Don´t miss Plaza Serrano for a special cultural experience

the park was filled with people juggling, sunbathing, palyin guitars, picnicing -- mostly in their twenties. A great palce to meet locals.

Formerly a quiet 1900s residential district, home of author Jorge Luis Borges, it is now a vibrant district open 24/7, with bars, restaurants and trendy design shops. Close to Santa Fe Avenue worth visiting in the evenings and weekends.

Great place to go, full of pubs and restaurants with good prices and every kind of people, is considered one of the best locations in town despite all the garbage and dog sh*t lying on the sidewalks. If I lived in Buenos Aires it would definately be at Palermo.

This area of the city has so much to do, so many shops, and food. I found this area of the city to be very new york like and the people are so friendly.

If you go to London or New York soho's the ambience is already very upscale and nor hip or young any more. Palermo was just the best place to shop in BA. Nice cafees, calm threes and a big variation in shops.

Safe, fun, great food, trendy,etc... While Recoleta still receives all the referrals Palermo was for us a better representation of what Argentina was really like. Neighborhood bars, trendy resturants, convienent to parks, zoo, and transportation. In three weeks we did not see or hear of any criminal activity. If you get as far as BA don't make the mistake and... More

Palermo Soho The most important decision to make if you are staying for more than a week is where to live. We have been to Buenos Aires four times and each time stayed in different places Congresso, Recoleta, and San Telmo. Each area has a certain charm but the best place we have stayed is Palermo Soho. We rented two... More
