Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great time. Anna was a good guide and able to switch well between Spanish and English. Beautiful countryside and all the stops were flush with souvenir shops and eaterys. Stop in La Cumbrecita needed to be about an hour longer as Las Ollas and the falls were quite a hike out.

First trip with their van was ok. Second trip had only about 10 % of English language from guide and putting tourists in their bus was a gross insult.

I purchased two tours online from a website Daytours4U
Native Viajes Excursiones Cordoba located near Plaza San Martin provided the tour service.
I am very satisfied with their service. ... I chose Valle la Calamuchita and Cumbrecita ( wear shoes with traction for short or long hikes )
On the way back from Cumbrecita, the driver stopped the bus for a few minutes on the side of the road. I purchased a cow hide hanging over an outdoor post on the road because La Cumbrecita only sold lamb hides.

Sooo absolutely very disappointing We booked the tour to la Combrecita for 1500 pesos. A very nice young man met us at the hotel. He spoke good English but unfortunately he was not the guide on the trip. When the bus arrived It was old and dirty. Most of the seatbelts didn’t work and were covered in dust. The air conditioning was malfunctioning and came through the loudspeaker system in parts of the bus. Over our seat it was blowing very strong out of the sound system. We were frozen in our seat. We asked the guide several times to turn it down but he said he couldn’t control the aircon We eventually managed to change seats.
The bus spent over an hour picking up other people from hotels in the city.
There wasn’t a microphone in the bus so the guide spent his time going up n down the bus giving some explanations in English but mostly speaking Spanish.
The highlight was the first stop where we were offered bread cheese salami and some small wine tasting. The scenery was interesting but the towns we visited are just tourist traps with the usual kitschy souvenirs.
Over 11 hours on a dirty rickety bus with only3 viewing Stops with little explanations is definitely not my idea of a good tour. We left at 9.20am and. And hadn’t reached our hotel by 20.30.we were told we would return at 19.00. Delay was not due to traffic just bad time management
Overall it was a very disappointing and unprofessional trip and would not recommend this tour company.

It took a trip to Calamuchita that was supposed to be a whole day trip and they described it as a fascinating tour with many interesting places to visit such as a few local villages, a few lakes and museums. I paid extra 150 pesos to have english version what was a big mistake, cause the guide remembered by heart some info in english that she screamed out loud with a bad accent and loats of mistakes, not understanding any questions of english-speaking tourists of her group. For a half an hour of information in spanish she gave us 5 mins in english. The best part was when in the middle of the trip she started to persuade everybody to skip half of the trip "because do u really wanna spend 2 hours just to make a few pictures?!" She really insisted on that so it took us a lot of energy to talk her into continuing the trip. Off course she became angry after that episode, she even stopped giving her poor explanations! And when at the final stop driver broke the tire of one of our wheels, she explained nothing in english, so we had to wait for 1,5 hours inside instead of spending this time exploring Belgrano city. Extraodinary level of unprofessionalism, very poor and overprised program.

Our day with Eduardo was an adventure. He picked us up in a nice, clean car from our hotel which was convenient. However, the rest of our experience lacked. Eduardo, our guide, seemed to know more about the United States and people from there than the areas we visited. When asked questions he had vague responses and admitted that he hadn’t been to the area in a long time. We felt as though we did not learn anything new from the experience. We also did not get as much time to enjoy the towns that we were told we would see, it was merely us sitting in the car while Eduardo drove around neighborhoods without any explanations. Part of this may be because it was a Sunday and many places were closed, however they should not offer tours when the towns would be mostly shut down. For the stops that we did make, the first stop for a restroom/coffee break took longer than necessary especially considering that the restrooms were very dirty and all the information about condors at the “museum” was in Spanish. The next stop was at the church of Cura Brochero where we couldn’t go inside because Mass had started, we would think that they would have thought about that beforehand and done something else first in order to be able to see the inside of the church. Then we had lunch at a very nice restaurant and were able to pay with credit card, no complaints. Towards the end of our tour it felt as though Eduardo was killing time in order to extend the trip to the full 10 hours (it ended up being only 9) by stopping at the gas station and driving around the block a few times. Furthermore, a trip to the tour office afterwards with our reviews provided no satisfaction.

I bought this tour from Nativo Viajes tour agency in Cordoba. Our guide, Sole, spoke good English but did not show any interest telling about Punilla area. Our bus did not come to La Cumbre. We stopped for 40 mins on highway before La Paz to buy alfajores. Then our bus passed by La Paz non-stop!! It was mostly tour on local markets. In Los Cocos we stop for 1 hour. I was the only one who took chairlift (additionally 250 ARS) to the top of the hill. View was nice but not breathtaking. Again it was a huge street market. Tour supposed to be 10 hours, from 9 am to 7 pm. It was only 9, from 9 am to 6 pm!!! Very disappointed.

My companion and I booked two tours with this company, at the recommendation of the hotel where we were staying. The first tour was to the Valley of Traslasierra,The and the second one to the villages of La Cumbrecita and Villa Belgrano. We enjoyed both tours very much and loved the places we visited in each. We had the same driver for both, Tomás. The guide for the first tour was Sebastián, who was very knowledgeable about geology and the native flora and fauna and played nice local music on the way back to Cordoba. The guide for the second tour was Claudio, who spoke English well and translated everything he said for the several non-Spanish speakers in the group. They contributed substantially to make our trip to Cordoba a great experience.

I did the Valle de Traslasierra tour and whilst I can't fault the set up, the bus was clean and perfect for the 10 people on the tour and our guide Clara was very knowledgeable about the subjects she spoke on and her English was really good, l just felt what have I paid 700 pesos for other than to spend 10hrs in a minibus, we did 4 stops including lunch, which we had to pay for, it was very good so no complaints there, but there were a number of places we went to including Nono where it would have been nice to get off and spend 10 minutes looking around and the Observatory where again a look at the view would have been great but no we just kept on driving. I suspect that's a feature of these tours but we did spend 40 minutes after lunch doing nothing and that time could have been better spent at these other places. So I came away feeling a bit disappointed

We took two one-day tours, one to La Cumbrecita & the other to Valle de Punilla. Neither of us take a lot of tours so it's difficult for us to compare but our experience was good.
We had a different guide each day & both were bilingual, knowledgeable & very helpful. The minibus & car were not falling apart as indicated in other reviews - the two we used were quite new with no problems.
The tours were to the north & south of Córdoba, and gave a good overview of the region. I'm sure you could take public transport or stay longer in the area, but our stay in Córdoba was short so this was an easy way to see the surrounding countryside.
We had opportunities to walk for a short time (1 or 2 hours) in the main stops, as well as a few shorter stops at viewpoints.
The tours were popular with domestic tourists more than foreigners.
I would recommend these tours if you're short of time or want an easy way to see the local area. But if you want to spend more time walking etc then these are not the right trips.

Hay pocas agencias en Córdoba que hacen excursiones al interior de la provincia, pero no todas tienen el mismo servicio. Las tarifas son similares y las podés averiguar por mail o facebook.
