Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Building itself is quite impressive. The entry takes you back several centuries to those stately wide open spaces, huge staircases and tiled and ceramic coloured floors. There a 3 floors of exhibits to visit, the first and second being devoted to the art of earlier Spanish style, etc.the Basement is more contemporary and I particularly liked the Timeline Display in the basement which brought me back to the late 50’s early 60’s showing the highlights of the events that very much shaped our Baby Boomers lifestyle and thought and actions of the era.

The entrance fee to the Museum of Bellos Artes is free.
An old world style building holds the modern art in two floors.

This is a nice gallery, set off a patio - the other side of which contains the Museo Julio Romero de Torres - so you can see both on the same visit. It contains a good selection of Spanish paintings from across the centuries, including a few contemporary works.
It's also a peaceful haven from the heat of Córdoba in summer.

It's fine to visit if you're there but don't expect anything like the Buenos Aires Fine Arts Museum because its not.
Still... fine :)

The Bella Artes is a fantastic museum with loads of culture surrounding it. From the exterior to the interior. The exhibitions depending on the theme are fantastic.
You will enjoy the facilities, the staff are very helpful, can speak English and of course Spanish.
Highly recommend it.

We went when it was very quiet in the museum. The artwork is varied and enough to hold your attention, but we found it hard as all information was in Spanish. Nice tea room!

This museum houses an interesting collection and is definitely worth the visit. Spread across several floors, the attic and basement at the time had the most interesting art.

Be aware that the attic gets quite hot and is not air-conditioned.

This museum is a stunner. Set in an old mansion converted into a museum, the art and architecture are not to be missed. The floors alone are worth the visit. Don't miss the top floor, accessed by a staircase wrapped in black cowskin, an unexpected touch in a classical building. All museums are free of charge on Wednesdays, so try to be in Cordoba then!

Although this is a fine arts museum, it actually had a lot of modern art. I did, however, enjoy it and it is very close to the Palace Ferreya museum of art.
