student admission is 25% of normal adult price. walked through exhibit in less than 30 minutes. mummies were a little jarring but glad that i learned about it. wish they had more information on the roots of the rituals they discussed.

The museum mainly tells the story of explorers who found the well preserved remains of 3 children sacrificed by Incas, but showcases just one of them, and aside from that, it's an average experience. Plus is that it really should only take 30 minutes to walk through and visit the descent museum shop which has some nice handicrafts.
It is small, well done. Nothing to complain about!
This is a small museum, but a must to visit. The mummies, only one on display, make you think and wonder......
The preserved body of the children on display is worth seeing. It's small but well done.
Very good musem, hudge portion of knowledge served in really attractive way. Impressive! It would be good, though, if all the texts were in english, not only part of them.

The MAAM in Salta is an outstanding demonstration of science and history working together. The building is small but well kept and functional. The adjoining video rooms show...

Some museums in this part of the world have...

They have done an excellent job of preserving and displaying the mummies. Too bad only only one is on display at a time.
Also too bad there are few other...
